DESCRIPTION
The Cormorant I ushers in a new era for San Fermin, who envision the eight-track collection as the first of two eventual full-length releases encompassing the full scope of the new project. It sets the tone for San Fermin's newest chapter, which largely takes place in the ordinary yet enchanted spaces of childhood, centering on the tension between growing up and longing for innocence. Paired with a storybook grandeur that entwines the real and the mythic, The Cormorant I invites listeners on a trip of wilful delusion, described by bandleader Ellis Ludwig-Leone as, “creating fictions from your life as a way to deal with more complicated reality.” One of the full-length's most thrillingly urgent tracks, “The Hunger” illuminates the inner dialogue fundamental to dating in the modern age, moving from lonesomeness to angst to glorious self-lionization with pure conviction. San Fermin is the project of Brooklyn-based composer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Ellis Ludwig-Leone, who pairs lushly avant-garde arrangements with pop-minded melodies that are brought to life by his bandmates. Formed in 2012 - shortly after Ludwig-Leone completed a job assisting composer Nico Muhly - San Fermin made their debut with a self-titled 2013 release hailed by NPR as “one of the year's most ambitious, evocative, and moving records.” The band's sophomore effort Jackrabbitarrived in 2015, debuting at #8 onBillboard's Heatseekers chart. With their third studio albumBelongreleased in April 2017, San Fermin has sold out shows worldwide, appeared at major festivals like Lollapalooza, and opened for the likes of St. Vincent, The National, Arctic Monkeys, and alt-J. The Cormorant I is available as a limited edition of 500 individually numbered copies on black & white swirled vinyl. The package includes an insert. 180 gram audiophile vinyl Insert Brand new 2019 album featuring "The Living", “The Hunger”, and "Saints" Limited edition of 500 individually numbered copies on black & white swirled vinyl Official website: https://www.sanferminband.com/

I usually wear 11.5's, but I buy 1/2 size smaller to accommodate for stretch. Leather relaxes.
Size: 11, Color: Burgundy Polished Full Grain
5 STARS: These shoes are awesome. I keep coming back for more. I have major foot problems, have tried all kinds of shoes, orthotics, and inserts... but believe it or not, these shoes work better than any of that stuff. I wear them daily. I buy lots of them, for home, for church, and I'm getting my first pair of J&M boots today, for winters in Indiana... Brrrr

Great price great shoe
Size: 12, Color: Burgundy Polished Full Grain
Excellent shoe. Tried the Sebago penny loafer and the sizing was ridiculous. These J and M are sized perfectly. I’ve had them before and they wear like iron. Very comfortable right out of the box.

Quality shoe but with a slight squeak.
Size: 10 Wide, Color: Burgundy Polished Full Grain
Nice shoes with the classic Penny Loafer design. Fit was better than another brand I tried. Only reason not 5 starts is disappointment due to a slight squeak at times when walking.

Exact item ordered, quick delivery
Size: 9.5, Color: Black Polished Full Grain
I ordered these black Cole Haan penny loafers for casual wear with jeans, khakies, and even business casual with slacks and a jacket. They've always worked perfectly for these uses. The Cole Haan version is the most versatile and still meets my sophisticated look criteria. I wear a 9 1/2 M with almost all other shoes. I have found Cole Haan to run slightly wider and slightly shorter. This fit will work with thin and no socks and a little loose in width. . I'd likely order a 10 N next time. I tend to forget this but it runs consistent with me for Cole Haan. 5 stars for the shoe and service. My bad on the slightly off fit.
