At a thickness of 1/2", these plastic skids are lighter compared to traditional metal or aluminum skid plates, making them more agile on the trail. Unlike metal skids, they are designed without "impact memory," enabling them to absorb shocks without denting, galling, or corroding over time.

Trail Armor takes pride in being the first in the industry to incorporate formed leading edges on their skid plates.
